Experiencing the Grail: A day for women interested in the Grailville and the Grail
Women are invited to spend a day at Grailville sharing, singing and learning from and with members of the international women’s movement called the Grail.
Grailville is a center of The Grail, an international movement of women founded in 1921 and committed to spiritual search, social transformation, ecological sustainability, and the release of women's creative energy throughout the world.
This program will shed light on the history, values, and mission of the Grail. Long-time Grail women and new members will answer questions about the Grail and about Grailville which has been a home to the Grail since 1944.
From the simple opening ceremony through various participatory activities and a delicious lunch in the Grailville dining hall, participants will learn with and from Grail members and Explorers, women who are considering joining the Grail. We will:
• Join in singing some of the music that forms an integral part of Grail activities,
• Tap into our creativity as we fashion something beautiful to take home,
• Watch a multi-media presentation about the history of the Grail,
• Learn how to participate in the Grail’s upcoming events,
• Understand the process of joining the Grail, and what the expectations are for Grail membership,
• Meet the new Grail Director, Noreen Wilhelm!
Best of all, we will have a day to experience what being in the Grail is like.
Come, and explore what you might contribute to the future of the Grail and how the Grail might deepen and enrich your life. All women are welcome.
