Cincinnati Writes: A Third Sunday Poetry Series Reading By Cincinnati Writers Project and Greater Cincinnati Writers League

These writers will also discuss the ways their groups help support them as writers.

The Cincinnati Writers Project was founded in 1987 to create a community of writers in the tri-state. Over the years, they have formed critique groups, held workshops, thrown parties, and published their membership's work. The poetry critique group meets twice monthly.

Grailville’s Third Sunday Poetry Series offers monthly opportunities for poets and poetry lovers to gather for readings, performances and discussions, followed by an optional poetry craft workshop, led by poet and Grailville co-director Pauletta Hansel, in which participants will give and receive feedback on poems they have brought with them.

Spend Sunday afternoon with learning from and with accomplished poets from the Cincinnati area and beyond! Grailville’s Third Sunday Poetry Series is co-sponsored by Cincinnati Writers Project, Dos Madres Press, Greater Cincinnati Writers League, and InkTank. There is a $15 fee for the 2:00 pm reading. The Poetry Workshop, beginning at 3:30 pm is by donation. Workshop participants should bring copies of one or more poems to share.

Cincinnati Writesis held Sunday, September 19, 2010 at 2:00pm at Grailville, 932 O’Bannonville Road, Loveland, OH. The fee for this program is $15. Prepaid reservations are non-refundable. Tuition for the optional poetry craft workshop is by donation. 5% discount for single registration received by August 22, 2010. Additional 5% discount for multiple pre-paid registrations for this workshop or this workshop in combination with other Grailville programs.
